  The glass side panels reduce airflow even more so I only installed the clear panel and left the vented back panel in place.  Honestly for the cost I expected more from the case but feel somewhat disappointed.

  I purchased a vertical GPU kit, performance acrylic panels, and a tempered glass side kit from Streacom directly and QuietPC USA. The vertical GPU kit takes considerable time to install. Adding it greatly reduces the available space for cooling fans.  The case is supposed to have a standard acrylic panels included but mine came with the performance panels instead which was annoying since I ordered them from Streacom directly before the case arrived and the return shipping would have cost as much as the panels

 And so if you're just thinking of building an ITX system, this is most likely not for you. But if you're thinking of doing something special that is kind of part of your space, it's not just there to house components, then you kind of, you know, you have many options and Streakom is one of them. Now design wise, it is simple and elegant, nice symmetrical approach to perforation and the curves, top and bottom, left and right side. So it's quite awesome

 And with that too, my main sort of critique is with the mounting of the SSDs on the drive bracket, because that bracket is attached to the other bracket for the power supply. And then let's say removing one of the SSDs requires you to remove that entire thing. And that's just a lot of work for simple swap of a drive. And that could be mitigated by using one of the universal brackets potentially for your drives instead of using the drive bracket that is attached to the power supply bracket

 And also having a modular interior design, it's not necessarily needed for an ITX form

 factor because you have so little room to work with, but it is there regardless, so

 you do have the flexibility of mounting your motherboard and mounting all your other components

 in a non-traditional way, that is a possibility.

 Man, what an experience, so the system is now assembled.

 I have successfully replaced the Inwin A1 with the Streakom Datoo and the experience

 was satisfactory, obviously when it's over, because ITX is always challenging, especially

 when you're dealing with something that, you know, with the components that you normally

 would not put in such a confined space, but once it's all finished and it looks beautiful

 in my space, you do appreciate and there's a nice sense of accomplishment when the whole

 And pretty much all ITX enclosures have some form of challenges for assembly process and

 hardware compatibility and Streakom Datoo is not an exception.

 And before we proceed, check out the description below for all the links for parts and alternatives

 So this case is coming from Streakom, a company that brought us the DB4, a fantastic fanless

 cube aluminum, gorgeous art piece of an enclosure, while the Datoo is more targeted towards a

 little bit more towards mainstream, but still kind of like confined to that niche target

 because of the price point at over $200.

 So it is competing with the likes of Dan Case and many other, you know, similar size and

 approach in terms of this beautiful aluminum elegance that you would normally not be able

 And that's okay because variety is awesome.

 And so if you're just thinking of building an ITX system, this is most likely not for

 But if you're thinking of doing something special that is kind of part of your space,

 it's not just there to house components, then you kind of, you know, you have many options

 Now design wise, it is simple and elegant, nice symmetrical approach to perforation and

 But putting it beside like a gaming router, you can see the striking difference while

 putting it on a shelf as a showcase piece makes more sense.

 The one thing that is kind of a double edged sword for me is the front IO.

 I appreciate the simplicity of it with a simple power button and a type C port.

 However, the type C is not Gen 2, it's still Gen 1 speeds and I actually don't have any

 So that's kind of an unfortunate thing where I cannot use the IO over here and have to

 resort to my standard USB ports on a motherboard for any connection there.

 And so while we all want the type C implementation to really spread when it's just a type C,

 you know, connection that is a compromise where you cannot plug any of your USB accessories

 So it looks like we've approached the dongle life for the desktop.

 Looking at the back, this is the only place where you can find the actual model name.

 We have two PCI slots and a 92 millimeter fan mount.
