 They sent me a return shipping label via FedEx and coordinated an exchange for a new pan in the color I originally chose.I cannot say enough great things about the service and support DaSalla's continues to provide.  I look forward to more great meals with this terrific addition to my kitchen.

 The pan heated evenly and after following the guidance from DaSalla's, the pan cleaned up easily and beautifully.  What I didn't anticipate was noting a small, possibly insignificant mark on the pan's cooking surface. This was the most expensive piece of cookware I had ever purchased and I wanted it to be perfect. After contacting DaSalla's and submitting photos of the cooking surface, DaSallas's went out of their way to make certain I was taken care of

 So with some research, I decided on the 12" Staub grill pan. having never used a grill pan before let alone, cooked on an enameled iron one, I wanted to be careful about it's use. Although I purchased the Staub grill pan thru Amazon, the real source was a company called DaSalla's. I called DaSalla's to be certain on the pan's pre and post cooking care

The 1st cook I did was 2 prime ribeye steaks and 3 prime new york steaks. I have owned restaurants and have done steak competitions and had pro bbq teams with 30 years of experience and this pan helped me achieve some of the best steaks I have ever produced. And it cleaned right up. The pan distributed heat perfectly the grill marks were beautiful and the flavor and crust on the steaks were perfect

Best cast iron pan I have used.

 Leaves great sear marks on meat and veggies. Presses anything that wants to bubble up like bacon. We have also used it on the outdoor grill.

I have the 12" grill pan and this fits it perfectly. I love making paninis and grilled sandwich concoctions with this press. I have not tried it, but I could use this for bacon as well. It is a good weight to keep whatever is under it, pressed frimly to the grill

 This is a perfect combo to holds up heat in between cast iron grill pan and this cast iron press lid. It's just all about greatness, it brings happiness for a great food.

Staub makes a superior product. This is a nice size where I can cook 4 burgers, 2 ribeyes or maybe a nice filet of salmon or a skirt steak.  Pre-seasoned but I seasoned with grape seed oil. Cleans easy

This press is perfect for my grill pan. It makes perfect sandwhiches and paninis. It is great when you're indoor grilling chicken because you will get incredible grill marks (color is flavor) plus it will decrease cooking time. I use it on my outdoor grill too

This actually is a very versitile piece of equipment. Heavy enough to weigh down a chicken, steaks or chops but also works on paninis and grilled sandwiches. I put this in the oven while I'm heating the pan on the stove top so it gets nice and hot throughout.
