If you have a charging cable but want your watch to charge upright and not slide around, we like the Spigen S350. Most stands look pretty similar and don’t cost much, but we like this one because it has a lip on the front that keeps your watch from sliding off when charging.

 There's a tiny little adapter included in there that'll make it sitting upright so it doesn't sit down because the 42 obviously is a little bit taller than the 38. This very well works with nightstand mode, and it exclusively works with nightstand mode. This will only work with your watch horizontally, so if you're looking for something to display your watch vertically, this will not work. As you can see here, here's this little simple rubber adapter

 As far as what the stand is made out of, it is made out of a scratch-free TPU, which is going to basically give this a nice, minimalist aesthetic while still coming in under $20. Now I do really like this stand, and it's a great option if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to a lot of the premium ones that we've covered. However, you do have to use that suction, otherwise this will not stay down. It is not heavy at all

 So if you're looking to have the cord going out to the left, it will work, or going out to the right. So no matter which side of your bedside you're going to be throwing this on, it will work just as well. It is very nice because the puck will line up perfectly with the front of the charger. It'll be completely flush compared to some other cheaper, less detail-oriented stands that are out there on the market

 If we go ahead and look at the Con side of things, it is super lightweight. Now while that could be a good thing, it's kind of a bad thing because you literally have to use that adhesive to stick it down, which means you can't move this around. Not only can you not move it on your nightstand, you can't move it from your nightstand to your desk, or even when you're traveling, you're going to have to completely take your puck out of there and just leave that stuck where it is. And obviously it's made out of plastic, a much less premium material than the metal or leather options that we've looked at

Good, but stuck to my dresser…

Not really made for 38/40 mm watch. I have the 40mm and my watch will only stay put and charge if I put it dial side down, which then can’t use the nightstand mode. Not a huge deal but sometimes I forget and put it dial side up and it eventually slides down and stops charging and I don’t realize. I would give it 4 or 5 stars if I had a 44mm but I’m rating it as it was advertised for all sizes

 Since that is true with one of Apple’s own most popular watch bands I don’t understand why Spigen didn’t catch that little glitch.  YES OR NO  Despite their lack of attention to upgrading their stand and resolving their design problems I like this little stand. I don’t use the Nanotec base and I am over the silliness of having to glue something on the stand to make it work. I like this stand because it’s simple and addresses the bad design of Apple’s charging disk

 Having bought it, I must admit that it works rather well and is a surprisingly simple solution. The charging fob that originally comes with the watch snaps into the open space in the back (with two cutouts for the cable. One facing either way depending on where you want to orient the fob's wiring), and there is a stick on pad that you adhere where the watch rests on the stand while charging.  That is it as far as the setup goes, which is fairly straight forward

Handy for the apple watch

Love their products and I wanted to love this stand. I have the 41mm watch and the charger holds great to it I put it on my work desk it doesn’t move but my watch doesn’t charge while on the stand it keeps “disconnecting” itself but when I use it off the stand it works fine. Now it might just be because I have the rugged armor case around it but because of the work I do I don’t want to have to keep taking the case off just to charge my watch. Still recommend this product despite my user error

  Being a long time Apple customer design and decor is important to me. This is why I started by looking at some of the very expensive options that exist for the Apple Watch. I thought about the combo units that doc both the iPhone and the Watch, but couldn't quite wrap my head around spending $75 to $125 on a fancy ring that would sit on my nightstand. I was looking for something simple, good looking and served the function of allowing me to use the watch as a nightstand clock while it was charging

 The rubberized body of the doc protects the watch and blends nicely with the black sports band on my watch. The charge puck fits perfectly. You can route the cord to either side of the stand. I have the dock placed on a wooded night stand next to the bed

 As it turns out, this is perfect and for the price, why get a more expensive option that serves the same function.

  As many other reviewers have stated, shake the doc to release it from the surface of the nightstand, don't pull it straight up or the backing stays on the surface rather than the rubber of the bottom of the dock.  I was planning on trying this product and then buying something more expensive down the line. As it turns out, this is perfect and for the price, why get a more expensive option that serves the same function.
