New to home audio, $500 budget

Then I replaced the front speakers, then the surrounds, then bought a new receiver and finally upgraded the sub. Yamaha RX-V385, Sony STR-DH590 and Denon S540bt are three options. The Yamaha and Sony are $280 and the Denon is $300. For speakers you can go with a pair of Polks like the T15, Micca RB42x, Klipsch R-15M or you can even look on Craigslist and FB Marketplace for higher quality speakers in great condition.
