In the last two years I've been trying to build my first turntable setup, I managed eventually to get a **Sony PS-LX310BT** (which i used until now with some BT headphones) and some **Elac Debut b5.2** (120W, 6 ohm). I'm now looking for an integrated amp-preamp-DAC box, but really can't find anything in my price range. A friend of mine told me that theoretically i could get "good enough" stuff for <100$, but i really can't find any site recommending "entry level" amps under 300$.

The PS-LX310BT **has its own phono preamp built in**. You do **NOT** need to buy a separate one… and if you have enough money in your budget to add one, you shouldn’t be buying that turntable in the first place. You should be rolling that money into your turntable budget and just getting a better turntable. (The Sony is just a cheap hollow plastic toy turntable, with no adjustability of any kind—a pretty bad buy.).

The PS-LX310BT was perfect, because they could hook it up to their Sonos right away, but they can also upgrade to a receiver/passive speaker setup at some point in the future. You should download one of those apps that checks your rpms - they had to make a minor adjustment (I think you just turn a tiny screw) to get it spinning at the exact right speed.
