This hat is slim yet comfortable; it has a tighter band across the bottom that holds it in place and fits our small-headed lead tester perfectly &#40;with plenty of space for those with larger heads&#41;. We love that this cap is made from 100% wool but is as soft as any hat in this review. Wearing it when exercising caused no itchiness and was extremely breathable on sweaty runs and bike rides. Additionally, this hat comes with reflective decals for extra visibility. There was very little about this hat that we didn't like. 
For some, this hat may lack versatility because it is so sporty in its aesthetic. We found that though we loved wearing the Smartwool Merino Sport when exercising, it wasn't the first one we reached for when heading out on the town.

 You have to try it on to see if it will work, because you do want it to fully cover your ears if your earlobes are popped out and that's not a good beanie, because it needs to be fully protected, it should be mentioned. If you go online to search for one of these beanies some sellers, some merchants are confused, they're confusing because they will list this beanie as the NTS version. It is not the NTS that is a completely different product, make sure to pay attention to the materials. If it's merino and nylon, that is this one here, if it's 100 % wool, that is the NTS version, so there you go everyone that is my review of the smart wolf merino 150 beanie

 Now it should be mentioned that I run hot, I'm a very hot individual. So I like a thinner being, especially when I'm active. Basically, I want it to cut the wind cut the cold, not keep me hot, because I'm hot enough, I'm hiking up going fast running and gunning. I don't need some thick beanie and that's where I love this

 I really am, and I have worn this all the way down into the teens and was perfectly fine. It'S super super lightweight. This only comes in two point: 1 ounces. This is a jersey knit, as mentioned before very comfortable

 So if you have a small head, it might be loose. If you have a big edit might be tight, it's one of those situations where you might have to order it but be prepared to send it back. I mean if you have a long head, it's not going to cover up your ears now, as you can see here, this one fits me just right. I mean it's absolutely perfect

 For one it is way too small and wont stay put. It may work for some as a very light weight, I mean extremely light weight (so much so that you can easily see through the fabric). It just doesn't work as I expected it to from the description. May I suggest making a mens and womens or at least a few unisex sizes

 I pull and stretch it out to fit but now it doesn't cover my ears. Don't put this in the dryer. Lesson learned. I've had to buy more than one for this reason

Light weight warmth that works

This is the 150 weight material so it is pretty thin. If it is cold I will use something more substantial. If you are going to put just one cap on your head in cold weather go for at least the 250 weight. I like to put this under a bike helmet, hardhat or ball cap in the winter so that I can cover my ears when it is chilly
