 I'd also like a size for the iPhone SE so my wife could use one. She would love the purple, but green would also be a great color.

 The port openings are nicely rounded so they aren't sharp (I've paid nearly three times as much for name-brand cases that don't even do that).  I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, but I have to knock it for three little issues that would make it perfect: 1, the molding texture change along the peripheral of the back where it transitions from a rougher side texture to a smoother back texture is kind of rough and you can see a slight seam. 2, the opening around the camera could be a little smaller and snug to the beveled edges—they probably left a margin of error in case the iPhone 7 specs were different

 The raised lip around the edge gives just the proper amount of lift when placing face down without adding much thickness. The material itself is rigid yet flexible, which should protect from drops. The port openings are nicely rounded so they aren't sharp (I've paid nearly three times as much for name-brand cases that don't even do that).  I'd give it 4

  Anyway, just three small things that could make it perfect. Otherwise I highly recommend it as it feels great, looks great, and seems to be protective. I'd also like some other color options, such as red. Or maybe if they could tweak the black to be a bit deeper to better match the Jet Black iPhone 7

 Without a stiff back, there is a danger that a pointed impact could shatter the glass back of the iPhone 8. So the back is going to be more useful protection against scuffing than dead-on impact.

I bought this case for my iPhone SE to be a slimmer replacement for my lifeproof case that was falling apart. I ultimately returned it, but wanted to give my subjective opinion to help others with their decision making process. I liked that the design was very slim and loved the style of the “flavor of the month.” The aspect I couldn’t tolerate was how slippery it felt in my hand or when laying my phone on a flat surface

There are textured sides; however, the material they use to make the case is very smooth and negated the benefits of the texture. Although this model is named “gripmunk,” I felt like the lack of grip was it’s weakest point

Slim and good drip

I searched carefully for an inexpensive iPhone case that provided adequate protection, minimum extra dimensions to iPhone, a secure grip, and good functioning volume and other case buttons. The Gripmunk fulfills these requirements. As for durability, I can't personally attest yet but previous reviewers seemed happy with durability.
