Along side that, I found the passive isolation in my old shure se215's to be better then the ANC in the wh1000xm3's when I had those. The XM3's also had far worse sound, and could only get kinda close after extensive EQ'ing. Who knows, maybe these buds are different, but I highly doubt it.

Comfortable and if you go down models to the XM3 or XM2 you can get a pretty good deal. Sound is good enough and overall very enjoyable. If you want IEMs, I find the Shure brand the most comfortable for long periods of time. I would check out the Shure SE215.

Moved up to a mid-tier set up. Moondrop Starfield with the Fiio M6.

Before this I was using the Shure se215 with the BT2 add-on. They were perfectly fine for work outs and commutes, but I found the highs really hard to listen to for long periods of time. As well as when I used the wire plugged into my phone, the DAC just wasn't doing it for me. After moving the the starfields, the highs are much smoother and sound very natural.
