I have the Schlage Encode and love it. One recommendation is to check the ANSI grade of the deadbolt. A lot of smart locks are actually really poorly rated locks - be sure to pick an item that can't be easily kicked in (I went with ANSI grade 1).

We have a Schlage Encode and love it. It hooks directly into the WiFi so no hub needed and works with google and Alexa if you want. It also works with our ring along with Alexa, and being able to lock and unlock by yelling at her is great.

We tried a TON of them, and finally settled on the Schlage Encode (wifi). The lock is awesome, the software is great and full featured. IMO it’s the best in the category. I do also have a Level Lock for my security screen because I needed a deadbolt that fit the profile.
