1/14/2022 Update In short, I STRONGLY recommend a different smart lock due to the issue with the Gen 4. Either save yourself some money and buy the Gen 3 lock with August Connect, or get yourself a lock from a different manufacturer because August's software developers seem unable to fix this issue....
