On the same cameras, my 128gb SANDISK high endurance WORKS JUST FINE. Will try a big name brand 1024gb once prices aren’t so high and give all readers/researchers an update on testing etc.

I picked this up for my dash-cam, let’s test out the endurance over many cycles the dash cam puts memory through.

Are high endurance memory cards really that big of a deal?

Yes, don't use the SanDisk Ultra cards as they are very troublesome in dash cameras. The SanDisk High Endurance work well with dash cameras as are warranted for such use.

High write endurance cards are worth every penny

I use A LOT of Raspberry PI and other single board computers around the house. For years, I was plauged by issues with memory card corruption. It seemed like every few months I was buying new cards. Sandisk, Microcenter Brand, It didnt matter... they would all die within 3-12 months of being online ...

Is the Micro SD fine?

SanDisk High Endurance, Samsung Pro Endurance, Samsung EVO Select or EVO Plus. Those are the recommended cards for the Viofo. The Viofo branded cards work well too, but are pricey.

Bought this for my car's dashcam/SentryMode since it can withstand extreme temperatures and be rewritten a ton of times without failing. I've had it almost 3 years and it's been perfect. I bought it along with the SanDisk MobileMate microSD Card Reader
