You'd probably be better off on the QST 98 or 92 if you're looking specifically at the QST line, especially as a beginning/intermediate. You'll want to really nail down your form first before hopping on a wide ski as your daily driver on groomers as wider skis can create bad habits if you don't already have good form. They're much more difficult to get up on edge and get a real good carve in.

Just picked up Salomon QST 98’s and I love them. They’ve been great on the ice and crud and get great lift in four inches of powder.

You'd be surprised at how snappy newer, wider skis are. You'll be just fine. I was skiing Salomon QST 99s in MN and wished I had gotten the 106s. Plus, they'll really be fun if you take a trip out west and get some snow :)

The length of those skis are going to make learning to ski bumps a slow process. You want to be looking at skis a little shorter than that with a limited amount of metal. Something like a Salomon qst 92 in a 161cm or a Elan ripstick in a 164cm is going to be a much better fit for your ability. I would stay away from your Blizzard Bonafides and enforcers for the time, they will just be too unforgiving.

Solomon qst 98 in 183cm - This ski felt amazing. It was playful, slashy, still carved great, and it just placed me in the perfect body position. I felt like I was skiing on a snowboard and it was awesome.
