Tobacco Saddleback Leather Front Pocket ID Wallet Review

 It's LEGIT leather.  Update: I bought this wallet in 2012, so I feel like I can speak to its quality and the customer service I received. Over the years this wallet has probably broken 10-20 creditcards/membershipcards/etc. It brokes them straight across the part that swipes, so you're left with a skinny piece and the bigger piece with the numbers

 20 days later and I have not received a response. If you're interested in the replacement wallet I chose it will be the 'Bellroy Hide and Seek".  5 stars on date of purchase, 3 stars after 8 years, not a bad run for a 45 dollar wallet (at the time) but unhappy with the lack of customer service. Didn't seem fair to drop it lower than 3 stars as despite it's failings it's a quality product

I'm not a big guy and don't find this wallet to be too big like others have said. If you have bought a wallet that has become damaged after 1 year, look no further, this one will last forever.  Now, let's get into opening up the Saddleback Leather front, pocket ID slim wallet all right! This is how king just fine we're good off of Amazon. Alright, let's get a closer look here. Nice leather have multiple layers in here nice, firm, stitching, back, stitching reinforcement on all of the sectional pieces looks like we have some lining leather lining in here as well, very sturdy.  It arrived quickly in a large padded envelope with no case, box or anything else, which honestly is unexpected for something priced this high but is still fine since it's just a wallet.  The first thing that I noticed about the wallet is that it's larger than my old bifold and the stitching craftsmanship is on point. However, it sacrifices utility for durability. There are fewer stitched compartments than expected on this sized wallet and I'm not able to fit as much in it as my former wallet

 The whole thing is stiff and uncomfortable to carry, but I think it will get better with time and use.  It looks like these sturdy materials are just that: sturdy. Good for longevity, not so much for daily use.

I glad I found them because it is some of the nicest leather I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing and they have a wide variety of products to not just wallets bags

 I really like this dark brown look now saddle back. They make a lot of their stuff down in Mexico, where there's some really really skilled leather workers, but some of their products they've started to manufacture, also in the United States right in Texas and of course, that's gon na be a little more expensive to manufacture in The States compared to Mexico, so you can get the same quality made here in the States, but you will have to pay just a slight premium for that. So if you want to support American workers, then that's a nice way to do it, but, regardless of where it's crafted I mean this is this: is some high quality stuff very thick slots are gon na, be tight, of course, with any good leather product, you're gon Na need to break it in that's part of the fun. I like the idea that my wallets going to evolve as I use it, and this thing is gon na outlast me

 My husband showed me what he has in it and it's indeed not full of unnecessary items or an excess of credit cards. This wallet is indeed a beautiful item, but if you're looking for a slender wallet, this isn't it.

 So I mean it's not as thin as it could be. I guess, but you could have leather like this, and nobody wants that. This leather should last a lifetime and if it doesn't they'll replace it for free, so now we're going to show how it fits in the front pocket. So here we are, you can see my rather reasonably tight pants here

 Who is loaded so these cards out here now, when I got rid of this wall that I realized that much of what I kept in here, I didn't actually need anyway. So the way I load up my saddle back is ID goes here in the ID window. One thing I really like about this is the fact that there is no fake, fake, there's no plastic over this ID window, there's no actual window as it were, so I can't get all fogged up. If you look at this, you not looking too good anymore

 I really like how it looks like it's going to age and darken over time. Price is Right and basically it's the last wallet you'll ever need to buy if they actually honor their one hundred year, warranty, which I don't see any reason to believe there. I will try and upload side by side pictures of the Saddleback wallet and my Tumi wallet with the same contents (actually the Tumi has slightly more business cards in it as the design of the Saddleback doesn't really allow of paper cards - the cards aren't durable enough to make it into the Saddleback wallet in tact). Well made but INCREDIBLY thick

 I got frustrated that my wallets would continually break down after less than a year and did a lot of research on EDC forums on YouTube, and I wanted to find a wallet that fit my lifestyle that could hold up. That was small. It could fit in the front pocket minimalist, and so I basically discovered this after doing a ton of different research, and I couldn't be happier with with the wallet currently I carry this with 6 cards and the layout of this particular wallet can accommodate up to 12. So you have two pockets in the front that Saddleback says it can hold up to 5 cards and then you have an ID window and then you have a pocket behind the ID window and then you have a cash pocket and I have found the best format For me that works is carrying six cards, that's a combination of credit cards, grocery cards, gym cards, etc, two IDs and then four to six bills of cash

 It is made with 100 % full grain leather and it carries a 100 year warranty. So anybody that's familiar with Saddleback and that's the big thing that Saddleback is known for, I believe their motto is the products last longer than you will, which is pretty cool and they'll be fighting over it when you dies very neat company and this wallet has held Up extremely well for me, I finally, I found this wallet several years ago. When I was doing research, I used to carry a large George Costanza wallet. I got frustrated with the size of the wallet

 For you know, I've seen reviews where people stuff five cards and each one of these slots instead of two and leather is pliable and it works and it and it they just kind of fit exactly with what you use it for you know that also could be A downfall, if you like to change things out if you like to carry you know one day, if you'll have one card in a pocket, the next day have five. You know it might take a few days for 2x, so you kind of got to be careful with that, but at the end of the day this thing has gone through the wringer. With me: I've sent it through the wash dropped it in lakes. It'S done really really well, you know you can condition these things
