2 Person Down Quilt?

Not suited for campfires!

 I'm too, you know too wrapped up too constricted but uh That we love our camping blankets and this one's just nice. It's thick I don't have a whole lot to say about it other than it is expensive So you have to love your blankets and I'm married to a woman who loves blankets far more than I do She might own 40 another really cool thing about this blanket is If you can see these here these little hooky things there and then they're on all four corners and We got one right here It's also got this little clip right here. So what we actually can use this for Is if we want to strap ourselves in here We can hook this up just about any way we want we can you know clip this on to any one of these clips Hook it up believe there's is there any more of those little strap guys on here. I Figured it out

 We want them especially in the morning Sitting outside and then you know afternoon naps laying on top of the sleeping bag using a blanket If we get cold during the night, we throw the blanket over the top or if it's even too hot Like I said, we lay on top and use the blanket.  It's this thing is comfortable it's thick and It weighs in at about two pounds and the dimensions are 52 by 75. So I am six foot one 52 by 75 maybe I can back up here You see That is big for one person. I can wrap in the long way here and And this is great that you know companion blanket for camping. Otherwise, it's really great for Sitting around that campfire at night Wow what I do with my kids if we go up to the boundary waters in spring summer fall, we're in Minnesota So we we go to the boundary waters as much as possible

 I hooked it up to the wrong strap Yeah As far as value for the money There's some other blankets out there like the snug pack jungle blanket, which is like $45 and it's an amazing blanket. It's definitely not as thick even the REI camp blankets comparable. But again, it's not as thick $100 cheaper about a hundred. I believe these are 180 to $200 Just a great blanket not something I'd probably bring backpacking if it's if I'm going to the Boundary Waters and Pack size and weight are becoming a problem This is one of the things that would go or I would go down to one of my smaller blankets If I have the room and I have the weight I'll bring this Thanks for watching

Camping Gifts?

 If it packed down significantly smaller or was cheaper, I probably would have kept it anyway. But for the price, the value just isn't there so I am returning it.

I really wanted to love this, because the blanket was beautiful and I had my eye on it for a while. But it just isn't that warm, no better than your average fleece blanket. Not quite worth the cost

 They keep you super warm. I love that they're windproof, that it's really hard to get them permanently gross or dirty. They're going to last a long, long time, and I think it's something that's going to make your outdoors life so much easier for years and years to come. So definitely go pick one up

 We're trying to get close to the campfire and everything where normally she would just sit there and layers and layers of stuff. She actually pulled out her down rumple blanket and said that this thing was a complete game changer. She was totally wrapped up in it, was able to buckle it up. And not only did it keep her warm, but it actually has a significant amount of wind protection, probably up to about 15 miles an hour

 So weight's an important consideration to you and you don't want to lug around like a big thing everywhere or even want to try to use something backpacking. You may want to go with one of the down options. All right, so they look cool. You have lots of different selections with sizes and weights and everything, but the big question is do they actually keep you warm or will this actually be a great thing to have when you're outside? And the answer is yes

 Please consider hitting that subscribe button if you haven't already. All right, so today we're going to be taking a look at probably the coolest thing for hiking. And some people say they wouldn't take this hiking because of the size and the weight, but I absolutely love it. If you're not going to take it hiking, you definitely, it's worthwhile to take camping with you

 So you just open it up, pop it open like that, and then you would wrap this around you like so. It's hard to do with a beard, so we're going to try to just feel for it. So you just pull that in there and pull that and turn it the right way, and it clips. Now I could stand up hands-free and I would have a blanket all the way down, almost all the way to my feet, and it keeps you very warm

 It blocks the wind. It does a really good job. So I really like this. They come in a huge variety of colors

 This will be something that I would consider taking hiking, just cramming it down in my pack without using the stuff sack. But you have paracord corners, all right? You have paracord on the corners, which would allow you, if you wanted to use this as a picnic blanket, you can put this down and actually stake it down so the wind will not take it up. It's on every single corner that you have. Now let's get to the cape clip

Maybe not worth the money

 (I don't want to share the picture since it shows where I work) The seems came apart on first use, all the packing lumps to one side and it doesn't keep me very warm. It's extremely small, not good for one person unless you are shorter than 5 feet tall. Recommend not getting this for backpacking and sticking with my old I have from from a different manufacturer that I bought for 30 dollars. My other one costing 1/3rd of the cost weighs a half pound more, but is much larger, better manufactured, of better materials, and is warmer

Good review from paid reviewers, but get something else.
