Wish I had spent the extra money and ordered one already cut. I could cut the pad with sharp scissors, but it was somewhat difficult to do, and left uneven edges. The pad I ordered was about 6 inches too long in width and length for my 9x12 rug. But I love the comfort it adds to the rug!
