Tried everything and can't get rid of the smell

 Then I noticed the seal was not that tight. I mean for they were very airtight. They all eventually had large hairline cracks, even on some of the lids. I am not sure what to do with them, since they are no longer able to hold any liquids and they no longer seal airtight?

Loved them for 8 months...then bummer!

 However, after using them for a few months, I've realized they really don't hold up that well at all. All of my containers have developed stress cracks in various places, and have also showed bubbling along the walls. Is that bubbling plastic making it into the food I'm eating? :\ I'd love to continue to buy additional ones of these from Rubbermaid, but these just haven't been reliable.
