 The box that it came with is not labeled for the Pro but it should have the same accessories like the Argus 3. So we will check out what's inside the box, set it up, check out the settings in the app and do the installation and check out its video and audio quality. And do the usual tests and see if this Pro version of the Argus 3 rightfully earned its name. Thank you Reolink for sending me this unit to be reviewed and let's start by checking out the specs

 Cool less than a minute cool off. So we are going to test the maximum detection distance of the Reolink Argos 3 Pro and it doesn't have motion zones but it has a sensitivity settings that you can set as high as 90 and I'm gonna put 100 right here just for this test. Remember this has AI now so I've set the detection to person notification as you can see so I can crank up the sensitivity as high as I can but it will only just detect person just in my setup right here in my backyard so let's see what is the maximum detection distance of the Reolink Argos 3 Pro. So let's start at about 35 feet

 Video quality is amazing though if the person or object stays still but if they move around six fps is not going to cut it. I'm hoping Reolink fixes this before they roll out the final product. Okay so we are going to check the motion alert notification speed of the Reolink Argos 3 Pro and I'm on my LTE connection and it is 532 so let's check it out. There you go and I actually have a person detection turned on so as you can see it says person detected from Argos 3 Pro and when you click on it it will get you to live view

 Remember this has AI now so I've set the detection to person notification as you can see so I can crank up the sensitivity as high as I can but it will only just detect person just in my setup right here in my backyard so let's see what is the maximum detection distance of the Reolink Argos 3 Pro. So let's start at about 35 feet. There you go I got detected at 35 feet. Show me Argos 3 Pro

 And one last thing is that this thing has a time lapse feature. As far as battery life goes throughout the night, even in my front yard over my driveway facing the street, getting activated periodically all night long, it still lasted all the way through the night with at least 30 percent left to go. No, I did not use a spotlight because that would be super annoying on all of my neighbors. So it could have dropped lower with the spotlight

 That's infrared lights. It has six LED infrared lights on the front, and I'm sitting at about 8 to 10 feet. Now as I go back a little bit, you can see a little bit of ghosting. This is just from the testing that I've done

 How much sun do you have it exposed to? How well placed is it to get as much sun as possible? And how much traffic is in the the view zone of the camera? So overall, I do feel like the Realink Argus 3 Camera Pro is a fairly decent camera that has good quality, even though the nighttime quality and the frame rate drops. If you're in, you know, the color night vision, you get some ghosting with the infrared. These are all kind of to be expected, but they're still pretty decent. But you have to make sure that you place this somewhere where you're going to have objects that are moving slowly

Not really impressed with this camera, motion detection is not all that great and is really bad about lagging to be activated. Mounted 9' above ground and (pointed in downward direction as suggested) it still lags in activating and sending a notification.  So we have our image sensor here and our two LED lights here, which are very, very bright. We have our camera lens in the middle there. Now this does have a digital zoom of 16 times, and also it does have infrared night vision. On the back we have our mounting point there

 And the reason for this is because they are motion detection cameras, which means it only records when it has any sort of motion detection in front of it, which is a person, a cat, a tree moving in the wind, or a car going by, it will start to record. And so these are no good for high traffic areas. You need to make sure that you're not in a high traffic area because the battery will get drained very quickly. So that is the Reolink Argus 3 Pro 2K 4 megapixel wire-free security camera
