Not quite big enough

 We even looped a bit of the Grand Canyon in there as well. I had most of my items in a garbage bag for the Narrows and this pack made it super difficult to remove the bag and get to anything. After about two days of hiking, I started carrying my AER Day Sling 2 instead and left the bag in the car.

I really wanted to like this one

My SO and I have been using this for smidge over a year now have gone to more than a dozen hikes with it! All the day hikes we've done ranged from 6-12 mile RT and we would share the maxed out 2L in the bag. We do good to hydrate before, so we drink occasionally on the trails and only the 10+ mile round trip made us finish the water halfway going down from the hikes. But other than that we are able to just share this one bag to carry our lunches/snacks/water/phones/first aid/lifestraw/ other small items. There's a built in whistle that is nice and the straps are a nice secure touch

 Its a really good looking pack which is why I've used it so much around town but its definitely a really nice hiking daypack. If only it had a buckle for the hip straps to make them easier to remove, I'd say it is otherwise awesome!

 It has a pretty stiff frame which I haven't experienced in other daypacks but I do like how it keeps everything in place and makes the pack more stable when scrambling around. I wasn't sure about the spacing of the padding on the back while hiking but it actually was nice how it breathes which is great for warm weather hiking. Its a really good looking pack which is why I've used it so much around town but its definitely a really nice hiking daypack. If only it had a buckle for the hip straps to make them easier to remove, I'd say it is otherwise awesome!

CON’s: Loops on shoulder strap adjusters rubbed on my arm a little when my arms were swinging. I would like to see a longer zipper for more access.

Great pack for day hikes!!

I just got my pack 3 weeks ago and I've already used it more than 15 times. Based on that amount of usage, I can say this is the best day pack for hiking I've ever owned. Reasons: (1) the padded shoulder straps are super comfy; (2) the dedicated, padded section for the water reservoir is genius; (3) there's a nice little clip on the right shoulder strap I use for the drinking tube; (4) the hip belt is also very comfy and easy to adjust; and (5) just the sheer overall quality of the pack.

Worth Every Penny

Hiked the Inca Trail.  Provides enough space for several days of clothing.   The bladder guard definitely helped protecting the water source from getting squished.  Also served as a camera protector
