 I don't think that I think I remember those on the original this was pretty loose that's also improved. There's now improved audio on a speaker now in the front and also one in the back that's kind of hidden down here. There's a three and a half millimeter audio jack here so for those of you guys that use headphones and want to have listen to your audio through your headphones you can plug in a headphone in the back here. These grips now have an optional flat grip that's included in the box so if you want to swap out the taller back grip for a flatter one this is included you can swap that out

 You can check out the Max video if you want to see what those are like but basically the Mark II comes in two editions or two versions for each edition. So there's the ExpressLRS internal which is what I have here and then there's the 4-in-1 edition or version. So that one has the 4-in-1 multi-protocol module that's internal. Obviously most people will probably go for the 4-in-1 internal and then add an ExpressLRS or some sort of module in the back but if you want internal ExpressLRS there is now a version in the Mark II that on both the standard and the Max edition for internal ExpressLRS

 So for those of you that need a strong centering detent and ask for that feature those are now in there. I also noticed that the sliders here on the side seem to have a better detent as well. I don't think that I think I remember those on the original this was pretty loose that's also improved. RadioMaster TX16S Mark II Review - YouTube

 Mine has been, I've got to say, perfectly customized for me. It's got these little nice UAV Futures engravings right here, but essentially, what it is, this is a multi-protocol radio that you can get that binds up to all your crafts out there. So, whether you'll be flying around FlySky, FreeSky, a whole bunch of stuff, it's a multi-protocol radio. It's got a JR module in the back, and the big one, it's coming in at around the $100 mark

 It's 2020, you want to get a new radio? Well, stay tuned, because today we're going to find out everything about the Radiomaster TX16S and find out, is it the radio for you? G'day, Stu here from U of E Futures, and today, well, we've got a pretty exciting video that I think is going to help a lot of people out there. Today, what we're checking out, it is the Radiomaster TX16S, a whole bunch of letters, but essentially, it is this brand new radio, fresh off the press. It's doing an awful lot, and we're going to find out just how good this radio is. We're going to break it down, look at its overview, look at its features, the pros, the cons, compare it to the Jumper T16, because that's what a lot of people are going to be asking

 The Jumper's been out for a little while as well. So, we're going to go through it. Let's have a look at some of the features, of course. We'll go through all the switches and all that sort of stuff fairly quickly, because as a drone pilot, most of us, we don't need all these bazillion switches and modes and toggles and all that sort of stuff

RADIOMASTER TX16S - EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

 So without further ado let's go ahead and get on with the review. Alright so what you get with the package with the TX16S is you get the TX16S itself you also do get a manual it also comes in this nice little case this is real big so it comes in this case you can use it it's kind of bulky though it's real square kind of can't really show it without moving this over but this is the case that comes with so you could keep it in here to protect it it does come with an inverter if you get the crossfire version I think this one is the more expensive one the crossfire module which I did get it but it will come with the crossfire module comes with the inverter you don't need to install it because it already comes like that install it already works so if you know somebody that needs an inverter you probably can give it away to them so they can have it for their radio now it also comes with some tension springs so we have some extra tension springs that comes in the package and then it comes with a USB-C cable which I am currently using to charge it so that's everything it comes with so let's go ahead and break down pretty much just what it looks like really so it really borrows a lot of the I mean it's exact type of like the jumper TX 16 but it does have these little grips on the back here so you can get so if you're a thumber I'm a thumber so I can grip it like that like here and does have this little spot where your finger can rest and then you can go like here and then also if you want to thumb it a little more and come up you can just put your fingers behind those little rests like that and then you got yourself your full stick travel if you're pinching I think I don't really pinch so I think that's how I would kind of hold it like something like that I guess that's how you do it so it does feel comfortable this way too now what does come with having with this antenna it's already on there connected the gimbals are Hall effect gimbals and then we also have all these switches these are all three position switches here and then we also have a two position switch here and then we have our momentary switch here we do have these little adjuster sliders here which do easily bump so if you're pinching you might easily bump them I mean they stick a little good in the middle like they say you see it kind of does move around a little bit it's kind of flick it but get a little more pressure and it will move so these aren't that stiff knobs feel good let me have those little settings if you want to use a fixed wing you have this for that powering on you just go ahead and hold this down and I already has open TX and everything flash you don't have to worry about flashing the radio at all and it does have this beautiful LCD screen just like the horse and also the jumper radio this is competing with pretty much it's real nice and let me know in the comment section down below if you're interested in me doing some more tutorials maybe setting up your model maybe putting an image on it whatever you want to do just let me know down the comment section down below so and then the power off you have to hold the button we do have the scroll wheel we do have returns page and all this good stuff there and then for the battery it does come with this little battery pack for your radio but you do need to supply your own 186 50s you can also use a 2s lipo in here which might actually be better I don't think you can fit three 186 50s if you wanted a 3d print something it wouldn't I don't think it'll quite fit I don't believe but people are pretty creative so like to see what they come up with so let's go ahead and get over to flying it around see how this radio does I will say the gimbals definitely feel smooth and it feels nice and light in my hand like I have good control and good grip on it feel like the gimbal travel is adequate and feels perfect I am a thumber but I do have someone with me that's gonna actually gonna pinch them too and we're gonna kind of get his input and I'll leave a link to his channel down below if you want to check him out Sidewinder FPV yeah I'm really liking how this radio feels in my hands and just just flies good with it like I have good control so let's go ahead and hand it off to Sidewinder FPV and we'll get his thoughts. In your QX7 you don't have the hall of the gimbals? No. so I'm used to the four out crappy gimbals anyway yeah they got good noise

 I've had plenty of radios all the way from the QX7 to the Horus X10, the X-Lite and I also have a Tango 2 that I pretty much am using all the time but this thing right in here is probably gonna be coming with me in my bag every day because it does it all. So let's go ahead and break it down to the bench we're gonna kind of go over everything all the specs and everything then we're gonna go out to the field and kind of give you my initial thoughts and then I'm gonna give you guys my final thoughts at the end so let's go ahead and get on with the review and don't forget to like and subscribe if you haven't already to my YouTube channel. Radiomaster TX16S Review - This is the RC Radio to BUY!

 I don't think they look as nice as I thought they might with this particular radio. So all editions of the radio now ship with some additional tweaks and upgrades. There is a second speaker at the back, so you probably remember when I first opened my pre-production unit when I did that very, very first review, there wasn't a radio, there wasn't anything connected to the back case. You can buy an upgrade unit if you had one, the very, very first radios

You can buy an upgrade unit if you had one, the very, very first radios. That second speaker is now included in all of the Radiomaster TX16S radios and that just gives you a bit more volume. It's handy particularly if you're outside in a noisy environment, it means that when the volume's turned up it makes a nice noise

 So let me cover what's maybe a little bit different from those original review videos, what the options are for the new colours and also some of these new funky bits. Like obviously you can see here, I've got the purple anodised, mine's the carbon version, and I've got the leather strap sides as well, although I might actually invest in a set of black ones rather than these brown ones. I don't think they look as nice as I thought they might with this particular radio. So all editions of the radio now ship with some additional tweaks and upgrades

It's handy particularly if you're outside in a noisy environment, it means that when the volume's turned up it makes a nice noise. And also I'm not finding I'm getting any buzzing, even with the crossfire system from the speaker, which is very nice as well. I know some have reported R9M buzzing and things like that on some of the other 5-in-1 radios, but I've never had any issues on the Radiomaster

One more thing. The screens on all of the radios look like they have been tweaked too.. The new screens are IPS and have a much larger viewing angle. .
