 Only a couple of things to be aware of here obviously there is the warning at the top talking about don't plug your antenna in if you're going to power the internal RF. Be really careful of that that's so easy to do with a removable antenna. I'm probably going to use mine with something like the TBS Tracer kit for portability with smaller wings where the smaller antennas are actually going to work for me really well. So that's the way I'm probably going to use this when it isn't sat on my bench as a sim controller

Remember that the internal radio frequency stuff in here this isn't a 4 in 1 multi protocol module so you don't have the full list it is a reduced list but if your receivers run one of those protocols or you have a heavy investment in FreeSky stuff and you're looking for a cute little radio then this might be the one for you particularly as you can do the thing about cloning your existing radio and using OpenTX and Companion to copy all the information across so that you have a backup of all your models handy that you can link to without rebinding as well. Don't forget there's no internal SD card that's not a big deal I guess it's about keeping the price down as low as possible I'd recommend getting hold of it and copying over the SD card contents via Companion it's a particularly tricky thing to do but then you'll start to get your audio and you'll get the Lua scripts and all that extra functionality that's not there in OpenTX without an SD card in support and there is a case supplied as you saw it comes in a very cheap plastic clamshell case unlike a lot of the other things from Radiomaster so hopefully they'll do a case separately that you can plug it into because like I say with all the pieces folded down this ends up being a really small little radio that actually feels much bigger in the hands when you're actually using it

So in summary what I think well this is a lot of radio for the money you know two years ago if someone had said to me you've got to have a radio that feels as good as this that works as well as this that has all these features for £50-£60 I'd have been highly sceptical but here it is. This is going to be a fab thing to do with the trainer port at the top with the ability to plug it into your computer to be a sim with the ability to do things like cloning

Imma say it's the radio choose probably , look at radiomastertx16s or at radiomaster tx12 if you want something cheep

What's wrong with my sticks?

Great for close range fpv drones

 Look it's smaller than my hand. And really, that's what it is. It's a really small radio. So let's get rid of the other Radiomaster, let's take a closer look at this thing

This radio for RC planes, drones or helis is small but it is full-featured and runs OpenTX.  It also has a multiprotocol module which makes it compatible with a range of third-party receivers.


Pro's:
 - it works just like a full-sized radio
 - build quality is okay
 - uses two 18650 Li-Ion cells
 - has built-in charger
 - sticks feel good
 - monochrome LCD is excellent in sunlight
 - has a full-sized module bay



Con's:
 - it may be too small for big hands
 - only a few pre-production gripes
 - it may be easy to lose (it is small) :-)


Summary:
So long as the scroll-wheel works okay on the production units this would be a great backup radio or backpack radio.

 I have a good computer so should be able to handle whatever is thrown at it. 
Maybe one that you can add wind conditions to as I live in a top a mountain ridge? I looked at the wiki but it hasnt been updated since 2015.

Any recommendations/tips will be most appreciated!

Hey guys, ive recently found big interest in FPV droning and already owning a drone myself i thought i would give the "training games" a test. but before i actually purchase a game i would like to know if i can plug my controller [picture](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/722199501695090699/929391508770156595/20220108_160939.jpg) could be used as a controller *in-game.* my exact drone model is the DJI mavic air (1) and the controller came with the droneit has a usb-port and looks pretty similiar to some i saw on youtube. thanks

Hello, I've decided to get my first fpv drone and decided to go with the tinyhawk 2. Ive been practicing on velocidrone and liftoff the past two weeks using a radiomaster tx16s a friend let me borrow, also played with a holy stone hs110d for a couple months before.

I feel very comfortable with the tx16s, would this pair well with the tinyhawk? I was going to get the RTF version but heard negative things about the radio and goggles. So basically, I need help picking a radio, goggles, and batteries. Thank you
