Ariel rider Kepler, Radrover 6 (on sale right now) Voltbike Yukon are all decent bikes and cheaper or almost the same price compared to Aventure.

Biktrix has some decent options for hub drive motors as well.

It has 5 levels of assist and I am typically in 2 or 3 level for 99% of the ride only using the higher levels if going up a steep hill. It does have a throttle option which I only use if I want a boost to get going across a busy intersection. I still have my old trek mountain bike which feels like a toy when I ride it as the Radrover weighs 80lb.

hey there id like to start off by sayin i hear ya and i am just alil shorter then you at 6'1 i purchased a Radrover 5 roughly about a year and a half ago and my dad loved it so much wound up gettin one for him as well hes alittle taller then i am id say 6'3ish but anyway ive had no probs with it ive put just under 500 miles on it all it still runs great and perfect for a tall rider.

I have the RadRover 5 ($1,800 USD all in). I love it, wouldn’t expect many issues in the snow but weight is going to be your biggest issue. I second the folding piece not being as useful as you’d think. Ultimately, you really shouldn’t store it outside your apartment and you’re going to get really tired of lugging a 70+ pound bike up stairs.

I have a radrover 5 and use it for 60 mile treks. I think cost to performance you can't beat the radrovers

I am 60 and at 6ft 2 and 260lbs a bigger man I have a 2019 Radrover just hit 2,000km good for trail and road in all weather. Just get one it will change your life :)

I'll second the recommendation for the Aventure. I test rode a number of bikes including both the Radrover 6 and the Aventure before buying my Aventure. I've owned it 3 days and already have a little over 70 miles on and think it is awesome!

I have a RadRover 5 and debated getting an Aventon also. I had a RadCity 4 but wanted I softer ride so I ordered a RadRover. My experience with RadPower bikes was good so I stuck with them. I have lost about 10 lbs riding my ebikes over a six week experience (260 lbs to start).
