Likewise, the graphics aren't as good as ACC or AMS2 (although personally I prefer the GT3 physics and handling in R3E - apologies if that's heresy!) And there's no weather. But none of that really detracts from the core of the experience and the enjoyment of the racing. Plus - from a player perspective, compared to other sims it's just so easy to hop in and play, and is much, much more stable in terms of new builds being released, revisions being made to core systems etc.

It is THE most underrated sim imho. I play all the major racing sims, Iracing is my favorite, Raceroom second. Thanks to the daily online races I'm always in a mostly filled online race within minutes, but maybe I'm just lucky with my timezone.

Bottom line? Good racing game/sim with plenty of potential.

The constant micro-transactions start to get annoying. Even with sales on content packs and moderate discounts for purchasing vRP (virtual money) to buy content, the game ends up costing you quite a bit more than what you get at the stage ...

Raceroom is my most played sim. The half-hourly ranked races is a great way to get some multi-player racing without the time and money commitment that iracing needs.

Ignore all the bad reviews because all they complain about is how the cars won't turn; which presumably driven using gamepads or keyboard. Get yourself a set of wheel and try how RaceRoom Racing Experience is one of the best racing sims available on the market.

Raceroom is lots of fun and pretty affordable to get into, has great physics, AI, ffb, and the best sounds of all sims. Ranked servers generally provide relatively clean racing.

You're missing RaceRoom Racing Experience off this list. It's a very under-rated sim because looking at it from a point of view where you're looking at what sim does something best like ACC is best for GT3/GT4, iRacing is best for competitive/physics or whatever, RaceRoom doesn't technically do anything 'best'. It does however sit firmly in second place for everything in my opinion, which makes it one of the top tier games.
