Race Face Next R 35 Carbon

Bottom Line. I’ve been a fan of Race Face bars, and after spending a lot of time riding on the Next R bars, I’m still a big fan. They’re light, I like the shape, I think they’re well made, but most of all, I think they ride really well

These are absolutely, luvleh bars. 800mm sounds a lot but In my (correct) opinion, that's bob-on. I had 780s before and 760s before that. I had a set of 820 ENVE which were like a broom handle. If 800 is too wide, trim them down, it's no bigie.

I was looking for a new, wider, stiffer 35mm carbon bar to replace my 31.8mm diameter bar.

The options for a carbon bar with a 35mm ride are limited.

20mm rise seems to be the norm.

These bars were not only 35mm rise, but also incredibly light (200g+/-)

They are great looking and super stiff.

It has a great shape that looks right and feels right. Specifically, the Next R has a bit less rise than the Next and SixC (all three at 20mm rise), and, feel-rise, there is enough vibration dampening to let you know that it's carbon.

Only one ride but love the dampening of the carbon. My rig came with 720mm and then a year or so I went to 740mm and now 800mm. Will take a minute but to fully get use to the width but love it! Moved from a 70mm to a 50mm stem and it seems fine. May go down to 35 or 32mm but don't think its necessar...

Ran this bar on my last bike. My new bike came with an aluminum handle bar and after putting the Next R 35 on I noticed a huge improvement in feel. Also way less hand fatigue on bike park days. Great stiffness with the right amount of flex and vibration dampening. The only bars I will ride now!!

It's light and feels very sturdy, and I prefer the subdued design to the Renthal bars and others. I'm very heavy and put a lot of weight on them in certain situation, but always feel confident the bar will respond quickly to my input.
