I had high hopes for this filter. It was easy to install but the water tasted exactly the same as a faucet without the filter. The horizontal design made it a little difficult to wash dishes especially the pots and pans. I ended up returning it after giving it a week and seeing no difference after a couple of days the water tasted more metallic like in my opinion

 I now just throw my refillable bottles underneath the slow-dripping/leaking faucet and come back and get it later.

I've only had this water filtration system for about 3 days and so far, so good. It was easy to install in under 5 minutes and came with three sizes of additional internal threads. Originally the indicator light was yellow when I first turned it on. A quick google search told me to rinse the filter

We've used PUR filters for many years. We use a pitcher at home to produce water to fill reusable water bottles. While camping, we use it to cut down on some of "natural" taste and sedimentation that you find in campground well water. Filtration - Great / Durability - ?

  It's much less bulky than other faucet systems we have used in the past.  Easy to follow instructions.  I trust this brand and have already bragged to friends about having safe to drink water so easily available.  I also prefer this to keeping a pitcher with a filter in my refrigerator

 It’ll pop back out and change the light to green. All that happened is when you removed the old filter, that button didn’t pop out to reset so you can do it manually, super easy fix. All in all it’s a super good filter. If yours leaks water, email pur from their website and they will send you a new one once you provide the receipt and code from your broken machine

Still our favorite.

 Filters are expensive also compared to Brita. Pur brand is around $30 and Brita is half the price and seems to last longer. I think the digital light that tells you to replace the filter also lies just so you buy more of their product sooner than you need to.
