For us, one of the best features of this turntable is its simplicity.

The AT-LP120XUSB and Pro-Ject Primary E are available locally for me, and those are the ones i see as value buys for my price range. Price wise, these are about the same locally though i COULD import the Pro-Ject Primary E for cheaper. AT-LP120XUSB is 440 SGD. Pro-Ject Primary E is 420 SGD (import set 360 SGD).

DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF S—- I do not like it. Overpriced for what you get. The belt is finicky, the Bluetooth option is useless and the dust cover is sub par at best, which doesn’t rest properly and it’s plastic on plastic. I'm loving my new Pro-Ject Primary E. It's around the same price, has excellent sound and build quality, and looks amazing. Thoroughly recommend as entry level that is not audiotechnica

My sone loves this turntable. He has a small apartment and a music room/office. He can’t turn up the volume, so this is a perfect solution. It drives his bookshelf speakers and headphones. He’s a musician who still jams with his friends. He has a few vinyl records and this was a perfect solution.

I'm based in Germany by the way, so you know about prices. I've been eyeing the **Sony PS-LX310BT** and the **Pro-Ject Primary E Phono** so far, as they seem solid but also not too expensive. The Sony one seems cool because it's automatic and has Bluetooth as well, which is a nice bonus on top. The Pro-Ject one has a really nice design and is also white, which would fit in very well with my apartment furnishing.

I started with an entry level pro-ject, for example a Primary E , and would recommend one of those.

For not a great deal more you get something that has a better build quality, cartridge, tonearm and is upgradable.

I bought a Pro-Ject Primary E with phono built in.

It'll be well within your budget.

I was/am new at turntabling and the record player does absolutely everything I need it to. It sounds great, 0 complaints and would recommend it for a first timer.
