 If you look inside here, you'll see, there's a seam that runs along now. The first thing I thought when I saw that seam was uh, the coffee is gon na get stuck underneath here and it's gon na be hard to clean. It, isn't it's double stitched, so the stitching down either side. So this is some kind of nylon mesh, but it's pretty well made and I think it'll hold up for a good long time

Best 1-cup "coffee maker" yet!

 But, I can't see why that wouldn't address my primary complaint with the design. So, even though I wasn't entirely happy with it in my initial attempts, it did make a rather good and strong cup and the fix to my one complaint seems easy enough to implement. So, I'm going to put back the star I'd planned to take off and leave it a 5 star review.

 I think, if I were to lift the filter out of (above) the mug and then pour a bit more water through the grounds to top off the mug, it might be a very good camping/travel/emergency solution. Haven't tried that fix yet, as it didn't occur to my caffeine-deprived morning brain and only occurred to me as I was writing the review. But, I can't see why that wouldn't address my primary complaint with the design. So, even though I wasn't entirely happy with it in my initial attempts, it did make a rather good and strong cup and the fix to my one complaint seems easy enough to implement
