First off, these dumbbells are nice. Are they the same as individual dumbbells? No. Given the way they are shaped, exercises where you hold the flat end of the dumbbell with two hands just isn't the same with these dumbbells. You can still do them, however. The knurled grips are nice even though the knurling is passive. The VTX bar I received was nicely finished with end caps even though the pictures on PRx website do not display this. Of note, I added 1/2” nylon washers to eliminate the space between bolts where rotating handles mount to bar so there is not any slop for rotational handle to rattle while still allowing for free rotation. This bar is the final bar to complete my “arm” bars.

I bought these and loved them until I realized that, contrary to the inaccurate product title, this model is NOT expandable. If you want the expandable version, you need the PRO EXP, which as of this writing is not available on Amazon. Do not buy this product if you want to expand to 70 or 90 lbs. W...
