Polygon Siskiu T8

Not another brand but can vouch for Polygon. Bought a Siskiu T8, loving it. Very well equipped for the price.

I received my new 2021 Polygon Siskiu T8 last week. Box was not damaged. Bike looks amazing in person.

**Polygon Siskiu T8:** This is my bang for the buck bike at $2,500. I’d like a Fox 36 instead of the Fox 34 it comes with but full Shimano SLX for the drive train is nice.

If you want to try a full suspension the polygon siskiu t8 is a great bang for your buck. I'm going to add this since you said you are frugal, don't cheap out on safety equipment especially the helmet.

It is amazing, i'd never go back. Same gear ranges and only one shifter to worry about.

Whichever you can actually get.

The N8 might be too much travel for you based on riding style...

You'll get SLX drivetrain, Fox front AND rear, and you can get it in 27.5 or 29 depending on your preference. The T8 is $2500, but it comes with actual usable pedals so that's $50 right there. Source: I looked around, ended up buying a T8 for my kiddo and it is really, really nice for the $.

Are you looking for a trail category bike, or an enduro category bike? As the N9 and Ripmo AF are the latter, and the rest the former. Skip on the Siskiu N9 as they have not updated the frame geometry. The Siskiu T8 actually has better frame geometry.

Siskiu T8 owner here. Polygon Siskiu T7 and T8 are two of the best “bang for the buck” bikes available. Context your skill level and type of terrain you’re wanting ride would be helpful… but unless you’re climbing steep, multiple mile ascents to go down gnarly EWS/DH caliber downhills, it will be great.

I have a Stance and it’s a good bike but the geometry isn’t to my liking so I’m going with a Polygon Siskiu T8. I would HIGHLY recommend you consider the T7 for a few hundred extra bucks or the T8 for an extra $700. You will not regret it. The components are insane over the Giant, everything is basically one level up.
