Found a metal ball that works with Ploopy Nano (link in post)

I am using a vertical mouse with a 65. I just got an iris and the interesting thing is I feel like I need more desk space now because it is more comfortable to use the iris farther apart. I am interested to know what the idael ergo setup will be.

After much sweat and research, I managed to get my corne working and I couldn't be happier.

As you can see, I didn't get a case or the LEDs (mainly because I was afraid they would be hard to setup, now I regret it). I ended up putting some rubber legs I bought on the hardware store, higher on the center and lower on the side, so they're slightly tilted.

Now I'm starting to play around with QMK compiled locally, I've already added some tap dancing and it's great. Of course, I bricked one of the pro micros in the process but was able to recover it using another one as an ISP programmer. Next goal is to customize the OLED screens, let's see how long that takes.

What is your recommendation for mouse/trackball? I recently found out about the Ploopy Nano ([https://ploopy.co/shop/nano-trackball-kit/](https://ploopy.co/shop/nano-trackball-kit/)) do you think that's a good option? Has anyone tried it?

My first buil - Corne V3

I’m looking for a trackball with a small form factor. This is so that I can use it without having to move my hand from my keyboard to the trackball.

I hate using notebook track pads. They are awkwardly placed, and make it difficult (for me) to type without accidentally triggering the pad. I just disable them altogether.

For field work, I would love to find something like the [old Microsoft Ballpoint](https://youtu.be/w8gfOVZpyM4?t=246), but modern enough to support wireless pairing or Bluetooth or even direct USB. 

I am currently using an Elecom Bitra thumbball and its fine, but really want something that attaches to the laptop.
