 On conventional lamps usually the lamp goes in the middle and you have a cavity around the lamp which is cavity goes to the ceiling which is in your house typically a non air conditioned part or it's above the ceiling right. So imagine you have 20 lamps like this, the conventional lamp and around those lamps you have all those cavities. So you are circulating your air conditioning through those small small cavities and it's leaking by and it's not effective.
