The airporter is made with quality material and looks durable for the protection needed against baggage handlers and I like that it has the ability to accommodate a small TSA lock, (not included) but Osprey could have designed it better. It would be more carrier friendly if it had backpack shoulder straps or the ability to expose your own packs straps. It would also help if there was a daisy chain on the outside of this cover once it is folded so that it easier to clip to the pack

 I'm 5' 4" tall and the ONE strap on it was so long that when I had it over my shoulder it was smacking me in the back of the calves. And then the size, it is just way too big for a 65L pack in my opinion. Yeah, it's great if you want to pack all sorts of other stuff around your backpack inside this bag, but if not, your backpack will be flopping around all the extra fabric. I ended up having to drag it through each and every airport I went to

 The WORST part of the pack that i absolutely hated is the terrible shoulder strap. There is no way to position the strap to be comfortable. It cuts into your shoulder, the pack carries too low and bounces off of your leg as you walk, and it doesn't tighten enough to pull the bag anywhere near close to where even a regular school bag carries.  I would have loved this bag i think if it had another strap or cinched up onto my back a little higher

  The reason I gave it three stars is because of the way it carries. the handles are good for moving the bag short distances but they dug into my hand with nearly 30lbs in the pack.  I got the medium to use with my Osprey Exos 58, and Osprey Aether 70, and they both fit fairly well. The Exos leaves quite a bit of room at the top, but I usually stuff that with outerwear and boots. The Aether fits like a glove, but also has enough room to fit a pair of boots. Now, the reason for 3 stars here

 On the contrary, you could have fit both me and my pack inside the medium Airporter! This was far too large for my Osprey Ariel 65 Pack.  Like other reviewers, I agree that this would be so much more useful if there were two straps to wear like a backpack. If you do end up going with this option I would suggest waiting until the last possible second to toss your backpack in before checking it. It's durable enough and I won't be returning it but when this one wears out I will definitely use my old military duffle, which if you don't have one can be found cheap online or a surplus store.

It's great to protect your backpack from the bumps and scrapes of airline travel but the one shoulder strap is nearly useless. Could be better

This bag has a really long strap. I’m 5’6” tall and I couldn’t adjust it to make it short enough to be manageable. I was also really concerned about the strap tearing off the bag. It was a risk I couldn’t take for an international trip
