I don't know how you would repair this knife, or if it can be repaired at all.

I have the non assisted version as well, which is terrific! This is made just as rock solid as the manual version. If you didn't know it you tought you were hold a lock back when it is in your hands. This sits on top of my fridge as a dedicated Amazon package knife. Ontario Rat 1. The budget king. Love it.

This is a decent knife for the price. However, the handle is a bit on the slippery side, the clip is shorter than I expected and the blade is not as sharp as I would have liked. I have a Benchmade Axis and it is much higher quality. It cost about six times as much though.

Folders are more concealable and a lot of us enjoy the engineering and fidget factor involved. $30 isn’t going to get you very far in the folding world, but Ruike makes a couple (P801) and the Ontario Rat 1 or 2 are dependable.
