 It tends to stutter in all of the games Aside from pubg they did some magic there Anyways, as you can see it drops into the 40s around here This is not like the extremely low memory mode or anything. It's just a normal game So if you wanted more fps and still play at the 1080p resolution, you could still have it by playing with the other modes Uh, but hey, yeah, this is playable for arc survival evolved now. Let's get to the real deal in this game Where is the poop? Where does the poop come from even like I don't see it This is so interesting pick up I can pick that up All right.  So the fans are ghosts. No also for those of you that don't know you can just do this

 Take the fan out and clean it. It's as easy as that guys. This is a very efficient design actually

 Alright, let's go over the specs real quick

 This is a 2 gigabyte GDDR5 edition of the GTX 770 that are also 4 gig models. It has

 230 watts of power so it actually requires a 6 pin and an 8 pin power connector

 These are the ports by the way, if you're interesting if you're interested and it's released back in

 399 US dollars, which was actually the same as the r9 290 back there

 But that one was much more powerful. Yeah guys, I'm a bit mad today because I really wanted to test that card over there

 2022 shall we and it's desktop time G force GTX

 770 showing up that in MSI afterburner using the latest Nvidia drivers available for it to 472.98

 I'm not manually overclocking it as you can see right here, but this is a factory

 Oh seed model you can check out all of its specs in tech power-ups GPU Z 2 gigabyte GDDR5 as I told you and

 It supports DirectX 12 still but some games won't really launch like Elden Ring for example and over on the left

 We're pairing it with a Ryzen 959 heart X and 32 gigabytes of RAM just to avoid any CPU bottlenecks in this video

 So we can extract every single drop of that GTX 770. Let's get into the first game

 Shall we again double shall we and guys for the first game we got dying light too

 We're playing at the 1080p resolution using FSR on quality and we're using the low settings here

 Not the complete lowest settings. I actually set the ambient occlusion to low instead of off and I set the textures in the config

 Files to low because we got a 2 gigabyte card, of course

 And apparently it is actually playable like this. Look at this. We're getting like 30s and 40s

 Honestly guys, I would love to have seen a bit more FPS, especially after testing the r9 290 for a little bit

 60 plus I think on medium settings before it started going to hell. It works pretty well in this game

 All right, this is exactly what I wanted

 We are in a much better and more beautiful place and the weather is much better as well

 Look at that. By the way, it's dropping into the lower 30s at times. Not too bad. It is

 Should we just parachute from here? Yes. It's actually gorgeous guys the game even on these settings looks pretty good

 So cool to have this parachute guys actually really nice and this is also the more intensive city area

 The game is playable cyber bug 2077 is next

 we're playing it at the 1080p res using low settings here and

 Quality FSR and look at that. This is actually super playable now

 I mean, it doesn't look very impressive once again because it's FSR quality

 I actually tried it on ultra quality first and it was dropping from 30

 But honestly for such an old card to be able to play cyber bug

 It's a miracle almost and all because of AMD's FSR. Oh my okay

 Oh, we're approaching the very intensive streets. That's what's happening here. That's why our FPS are dropping like crazy

 It went down into like 31. I think 32 there. Wow

 This is super intensive guys. It's cyber bug after all

 Well, I guess if you really really want to play cyberpunk 2077 cyber bug 2077

 Playable experience here doesn't drop from 30. If you want a more stable experience, you should

 Next up is CSGO. This is way more adequate for the GTX 770

 1080p resolution low settings with high textures. Okay, so we got five minutes to go

 Red Dead Redemption 2 is next 10 AEP resolution using ultra textures and the rest of the settings are set to the default low settings

 that's expected a little bit the frame time graph might not be completely smooth in this one by the way because uh,

Excellent product. Really helped the speed of my geriatric Mac Pro, and not just the video rendering but the overall speed of the processes. My only complaints -- and they're very slight -- are that the installation isn't plug-and-play (requires the installation of a driver before installing the card) and that it interrupts the normal display (you don't get the little gray apple on startup). But once started, everything presents normally and works quite fast

 So some of these cards that have aftermarket cooling will actually be able to achieve better boost clocks. Another big difference between the previous generation GTX 680 and the new GeForce GTX 770 is the way it looks and its cooling solution. The previous generations used a big plastic house with a big old blower on it that kind of sounded like a lawnmower in some cases. Now, the new GTX 770 uses the same type of cooling solution as the 690, the Titan, and the 780, and hey, who am I kidding? This thing just really looks badass

NVIDIA GTX 770 2GB Video Card Review & Benchmarks!

 Tech fans, glad to see you still here on the channel

 Now I know a lot of people have a lot of questions

 Well, pretty much this card is still based off

 Now there's a lot of cards that are gonna be released.

 which are the cards that are designed and spec'd

 and it'll be the non-reference based cards,

 which are the cards that actually have completely different

 we'll be talking about the reference edition,

 I wanna once again reiterate that it has the GK 104 core.

 It has 1,536 CUDA cores, just like the GTX 680.

 unlike the 1,006 megahertz seen on the GTX 680.

 It also has a boost clock of 1,085 megahertz

 versus 1,059 megahertz seen on the Nvidia GTX 680.

 One of the biggest differences, however,

 while the Nvidia GTX 770 comes in at 1,753 megahertz

 and is actually the fastest memory clock to date.

 The memory configuration on the card that we received,

 features two gigabytes, just like the GTX 680,

 but there will be four gigabyte cards available.

 Both cards feature a 256-bit memory interface,

 and the TDP on the cards is slightly different,

 with the GTX 680 coming in at 195 watts,

 Another difference is how the power requirements go.

 While the GTX 680 requires two six-pin power connectors,

 the new GTX 770 highly resembles the GTX 680.

 One of the major differences about the card, though,

 All right, folks, now before we actually jump in

 and we talk about the benchmarks and everything,

 a lot of you guys leave things down below saying,

 So with that said, it's time to rock out

 Alright folks, so there you guys have it, all the facts, figures, and benchmarks of

 Now this card really is pretty much a boosted up, re-revved GTX 680, yeah there are a few

 changes, it's got much higher clock speeds, much higher memory, and it has GPU boost 2.0

 along with all the better cooling and all that stuff that comes on the card.

 Now a lot of people are going to ask, well how does this compete against the competition?

 We want to clarify a couple of things because the comments sometimes get confusing, there's

 a big difference between the 7970 standard edition and the 7970 gigahertz edition.

 Now the HIS gigahertz edition that we use sells for about $460 and you guys can see

 in the test that it went back and forth, back and forth with the 770.

 In some cases it beat it, in some cases it didn't, but it is a little bit more expensive.

Not for today’s most demanding games

 The game does generally favour Nvidia cards anyway, so it's not uncommon to see better performance than you may immediately expect, even with older cards like this. It's easy to assume that the 770's age can be mostly associated with its problems, but it is still one of the more capable 2GB cards available, and it is still supported by the latest driver updates. We're at a time when 4GB seems to be the entry point to aim for as far as graphics cards are concerned, and with so called entry level cards such as the 1650 and 5500 XT following this trend, it's quite clear that the days of 2GB cards are done. Some may even argue that 4GB isn't enough, but as a person focused more on budget tech, I wouldn't agree with such statements at this point in time

 The 1.1% lows were also quite respectable, so there weren't any unwanted lag spikes or horrible stutters to speak of here. Having said that, we are of course relying on 900p once again in order to avoid that VRAM limit, causing issues at full HD. The GTX 770 still seems like an okay card for 900p gaming, but it's also important to remember and consider how future drivers will impact further performance as it becomes less of a priority for Nvidia

 Without tweaking it manually, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a good example of how a VRAM limitation can ruin your experience from the beginning. 1080p will be problematic from the in-game menu, and tweaks will have to be made from within the Rockstar Games documents file on your PC instead. Even so, choosing anything other than 720p will prove problematic as even 1280x720 will give our card grief. The capture device even complained of a low detected framerate and started chugging, hence the freezes every so often

The GTX 770 In 2020 | Are 2GB Graphics Cards Still Enough?

 Hello everyone and welcome to another video. Now this is the GTX 770. Despite releasing over

 seven years ago, it's still one of the better 2GB graphics cards ever to have released.

 At the point of its launch, we had already begun to see a few 4GB graphics cards hit the market,

 the trend beckoning the question, should I buy the 2GB version of

 insert graphics card name here, or the 4GB version instead. Fast forward to the present day,

 and 4GB cards are seen as the new minimum to a lot of people. This doesn't change the fact that

 the used market is full of older higher end offerings like the 770, just waiting to be

 bought for a reasonable second hand price. This one cost me just £55, which is the same price

 as a lot of 750Ti's, I used the weaker card as a reference point. But are 2GB cards still worth it

 these days, and what sacrifices should you expect to make when trying to play new or demanding

 titles? Well, I've lined up some of my favourite games to see how they do. So what you're going

 to notice throughout is how the VRAM usage, as labelled by MSI Afterburner, is always sitting

 close to or just exceeding 2000MB or 2GB. Although I've obtained one of the better GTX 770s, the

 EVGA Super Clocked edition that features a couple of from the factory speed tweaks, the power of

 the card alone isn't enough to save it. Enhanced texture settings, for example, will be detrimental

 to cards that are tight on video memory. That being said, some games will tell you that you've

 exceeded the memory limit, and still run fine. Call of Duty Warzone is where we'll start. At

 pretty much every setting, including low, the VRAM limit will be exceeded, but the game will perform

 with at least 30fps, close to 60 in fact. To guarantee yourself a plus 60fps experience in

 this competitive online fps, you'll want to keep the aforementioned low settings and drop the

 resolution to 900p. You'll find me saying this a lot throughout today's video. In fact, you could

 sum up everything in that one sentence, lower the resolution to 900p for a much better gaming

 experience. You'll also notice that because we are using a Ryzen 5 3600, which allows the graphics

 card to reach its maximum potential, that I'll be running at 90-100% usage most of the time.

 It is essentially the bottleneck, and in a real world situation, if you are building a budget

 gaming PC and you want to use an older card like this, then you probably wouldn't choose a CPU

 like this. An i5 of some description from a previous generation would be best, maybe a 4690

 or similar. Maybe an FX8350 if you want to go with AMD. Next up, I tried Microsoft Flight Simulator.

 I have been having a blast with this title. I flew over my hometown and then accidentally

 crashed into the majority of it. For this test, I took a jet over the city of London, which although

 better represented with higher settings, does still look good at low. This was necessary for

 a consistently smooth experience, though we'll be focusing more on this game in the next video as I

 have a build planned especially suited to the system requirements. I'm sure you can imagine

 what that will be like. Luckily for us, the game is fairly inclusive of users who may like to run
