Get a combo with the FTZ Adaptor which is still on sale. This will let her use her current 50mm lens. Then add the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 if you want versatile, or the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.8 which is amazing for portraits. Hope this helps.

I'm currently liking what I'm seeing in regards to the z6ii, and I was going to pair it with a Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Lens, which from my research seems to be the best "all around" lens for something like the Z6ii.
