- Great for its class and price
- Quality is SUPER nice
- Audio from videos is VERY crisp
Excellent for beginners. A few suggestions on accessories.
Update: For those looking to capture action photography when the subject is not near the camera (e.g., throwing a toy as a dog is running away from you, wildlife and bids), I highly suggest looking into the following lens:Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED Vibration Reduction Zoom Lens with...
Nikon D3300 Review
The Nikon D3300 is a solid entry-level SLR. It's geared towards photographic neophytes, and its Guide setting is a good way for folks who don't have the desire to learn the ins and outs of camera jargon to capture life's moments in high quality. Its image quality is very good, even in low light, and even though the bundled zoom has some issues with distortion and doesn't capture as much light as others, it's a good starter lens
Beautiful camera, simple but can be highly advanced
I LOVE this camera. Its been on numerous trips with me, such as North Carolina, Washington DC, the Adirondacks, Cape Cod, Baltimore, and so many more. The quality is SUPER nice, and the audio from videos is VERY crisp. This was my first DSLR, and I would recommend this to anybody whos looking for a ...
This is one of my favorite Amazon purchases
This is one of my favorite Amazon purchases. The camera is great for its class and price. It's a perfect fit for beginners and amateurs who want to get the hang of basic photography without spending an arm and a leg. The camera is easy to handle. When buying a DSLR, though: keep in mind the price of...
Perfect choice for stepping into the Digital SLR world
Although I was an user of Nikon's amateur SLRs (e.g., the N8008), I didn't go digital until I was able to got a D80 in 2006, reusing most of my existing lenses. The D80 was great but I was missing two things - a great sensor with much greater ISO-equivalent sensitivity (and resolution to go with it)...
Nikon D3300 Hands-On Field Test
Alright, so a long day of shooting it was a very cool event. You can see the carnage is over, but you know what I was actually very, very surprised pleasantly by the D 3300 I enjoyed using it and it looks like Nikon's actually giving you a lot for your money. You know there's a lot of positives on this camera
Love this new camera!
After doing a ton of research, I decided on the D3300 and I'm so glad I did. I will say that my dad and father in law both are Nikon guys so that swayed me a little just because I know Nikon makes great quality products. This camera is easy to use and with lots of YouTube videos on the camera and ho...
A great camera for college courses
I got this camera for use in my beginning / intro to digital photography class. No complaints about the camera itself. Works great! The battery doesn't seem to hold a charge when unused. It seems to drain at a fast rate. I charged it for a shoot which got pushed back a few days but left the battery ...
Great camera for the money!
I purchased this camera literally days before a trip to Africa. Thankfully, I had some folks insist that I get a "decent camera" for this trip. After some research I was deciding between the D3300 and D5300, the latter of which, from what I can tell, is just a D3300 with GPS, WiFi, and slightly bett...
