I mean I might be in a minority but I have a Nexar beam and I like it a lot. I did have occasional pairing issues but those were resolved by setting up the dashcam in the app again as if it was new. But having drives available immediately to rewatch or save clips from in the app has been super convenient.

It looks like a return sold as new. There was some schmutz in the lens under the lens protector that you remove, and a white crust on one corner I had to pick off. The back if the camera gets very warm to the touch just testing it in a 70°F room, and its supposed to last out in the 80°F to 90°F heat...

I have The Nexar Beam and it’s disappointing . It might be that I am not savvy enough about iPhone connectivity but the dang thing typically only starts recording after a couple of minutes of driving and frequently doesn’t record at all.

I do like the image quality, but i've had some trouble with the phone app filling up my SD drive, with no way so far to fix it.. short of getting a bigger SD card. It won't honor the settings for not using more than x% of free space, and doesn't seem to recognize that it's gobbling up all my storage...
