I'm no complaints with my Nesco though and I liked that I can add more trays, but if you are looking to spend more, peeps really like their Excalibers that I know. Things to look for in a dehydrator: a fan and a thermostat. Do not buy one without these features.

This is a good item works food pretty fast and even arrived a week early. Bue it was too big for my taste being in a cramp kitchen and the noise would wake my children next door if I dry over night. That's really my only complaint I went a bought a smaller one from the nearest store.

The product for dehydration of food I have used before. It is a good product. The packaging seems a returned item and NO Operation Manual. Box Damage and repaired before delivery.

Works well for fruit and herbs and vegetables. Never tried meats. Trays are a little shallow for some applications but I built a couple up with removable collars for thicker foods
