seeking bra with wide band size for small boobs

But after measuring and then trying a ton of bras around the size the calculator suggested, I found a great bra for my size and shape and it’s a 30DDD (Natori Flora). I was wearing a 34B often prior to properly measuring.

What are the best bras for shallow, wide root breasts?

Natori and Wacoal are two very good brands for shallow and wide that also have push-up bras. For a non push up that is pretty great, you could try the Natori Feathers or Natori Flora. The band issue really depends on your underbust measurements. If your underbust measurements are sort of 29/30/31, then a 32 is probably the best.

In this case, the bra is too projected (deep) for you; it's expecting your boobs to be pointier, whereas your tissue is tall/broad, extending higher up. You'll want to look for shallower cups--but I think not *super* shallow, because you need some depth at the underwire/bottom of the cup. * On the far end of the spectrum in terms of shallowness would be Natori Feathers (30D?) or Natori Flora (30C?)

Needing a little bit of guidance

You say you fit best in a 32DDD bra. A DDD cup on a 32 band is two cup sizes larger than a DDD on a 28 band. In terms of volume, 32DDD/F (32E UK) = 30G (30F UK) = 28H (28FF UK). So, if Natori Flora in 32DDD fit you well, I bet that the same bra in 30G (same volume, smaller band) would be even better.

I second Natori Feathers, or really any Natori bra for shallow, broad boobs. After searching through regular bra lines in the US I found a bra boutique in my area that carried Natori and I am in love. Nordstrom Rack usually has deals on them too- check there first. I would say that their bands are pretty stretchy so I did have to go down a band and up in a cup.

If you have small(ish) breasts should a properly fitting bra lift them at all?

Turns out I am projected and FOB (32DD) and the Natori Flora is unfortunately way too shallow on the bottom for me. I think looking for a bra that isn't too shallow will definitely help you. If you like the shape of Feathers maybe try looking at other lines that have plunges?

Side Support for Smaller Sizes?

I too am wide set and wear a 34 DD. I really like the Natori Flora. Sometimes they are expensive but I can also find them sometimes on Amazon or Zulily or Nordstrom Rack for less.
