the phone pocket can hold your next few phones and there is enough storage for extra items like water and snacks in case you do longer runs or races, then you are getting thousands of miles out the item. I started with an Amazon stretch belt that only had enough capacity for my phone but ended up buying the Naked Running Band later on anyways because eventually I got into longer runs and races and needed to hold more stuff.

I use a naked running belt. Can’t recommend them enough.

Another option is to wear a Naked Running Belt in addition to the vest, I really liked it's pole storage option. Worked well for me in a couple of races.

Haven't tried the quiver but that seems to get really good reviews.
