They are brighter than average, but the white mode is less white than most. The power cord is longer than average. This might not seem like a big deal, but when you want to take advantage of these products' low profile quick installation, you don't want to clutter the look by adding a suitable extension cord. 
These lights seem to come from the same manufacturer as the Govee lights. The box they came in says "Minger" on the outside. Inside, though, all the instructional materials say "Govee". The Minger light components we have do not say Govee or Minger on them at all. Very few strip light components &#40;each consists of strip, power cord, control box, app, remote&#41; from any brand have brands written on them. Interestingly, the Govee lights we review just below are some of the only ones that feature the brand on the components.

Don't use it for behind your TV!

 This wasn't preferred since I'm mainly using these at night and don't want extra blue light in the room. You can adjust the ratio of RGB in the light which helps with custome colors.

Good colors, not good white light

 Mine only lasted about 2 days. I left them on for 1 hour and turned them off. next Day they stopped working and i had to go to target to buy the CR 2025 battery. If you dont know just come with the battery and show it to them

The colors are garbage and not accurate and the white is pretty blue. But for this low price I'd expect nothing more. I just wanted a porch light effect for my camper and that's what I got. But to get yellow I have to select orange on the remote because as I said the colors aren't right

Have a tube of glue becase there adhesive tape separates.

 The lights come with an adhesive backing, but I used a U type staple to secure the end with the transformer and then removed only 1" to 2" strips of the backing tape every 2' to 3' to adhere to the wall. That way, if I needed to move the lights, remove it, or reposition it, I only had to deal with a small section rather than removing a huge chunk of paint or texture coat. The installation was very easy and the light output was better than expected. There are several built in lighting moods with colors and fades, but my daughter made her own custom colors and light patterns

Better than expected, reasonably priced

these are really neat! Great complement for any room.

Impressed, but with a few negatives

Bought these in January and by February both remotes stopped working. Changed the batteries in both and they worked for a couple more months and then died again. Changing batteries no longer works. Can't use the lights now

Great lights, TERRIBLE remotes

Recommend these. Easy to set up, look great and so many color options. The dim/brighten option is great too. Haven’t tried the face/pattern options yet
