I purchased this chalk for enhanced grip during my powerlifting training, specifically deadlifts. The chalk is great and works as expected, providing sticky friction and fighting moisture (ie - sweaty palms). My only complaint is that it clumps easily and can be a bit tedious to break up. For the price, I highly recommend it

 I started out using a different sort of chalk, and only switched to this because the price was right. BONUS - it works even better. I find that it definitely dries out my hands and stays put more than the other. (Now I make it to the top of the wall before the sweaty handprints show up, but I EARNED those handprints
