The jacket was super light and seemed like it would be very warm, unfortunately it has to go back. I wear a medium in just about everything (5’8”, 175lbs, 42S jacket, 34 waist) and this was skin tight through the torso and waist, like almost unable to be zipped. Sleeves and body were great length so I’m not very optimistic that sizing up to a large will work given how this jacket is cut.

 I do like how Marmot adjusted the angles and the lines in the shoulders and belly, changes the way it fits and makes it a little nicer. I am wearing a large and it feels appropriate. I have got a little bit of extra space in here so I could fit a mid weight fleece if I wanted to. There is a draw cord hem and elastic bound cuffs which help with the overall insulation

 This is a lightweight face fabric that blocks wind and holds insulation well. This isn't a waterproof fabric, so don't wear it out in a rainstorm. The insulation is a 700 fill power down with Down Defender Treatment. That down treatment is a lot nicer than old school down because it can retain its insulation if it gets a little wet

 I’m normally a Large fit but the jacket fits like Large (womens) it’s narrow around the stomach/waist almost like a medium fit for mens. After a couple of days of wearing, it already started to lose feathers so it had to go back.  And I swear, I wear this thing a lot. I mean, this is the jacket I leave the house in 90% of the time and then I go skiing in it and then I go out in it. It's just a very functional jacket, very warm and cozy. It's got a little inside pocket in here, got some hand warmer pockets, very simple, very warm, very light
