Hey guys. I start a job this summer framing basements and building decks. Is this all good? Do I need anything more? I’m on a slight budget as I am 14 years old but I have wanted to be a carpenter since I was 4 thanks in advance for the help.

You have a Makita and Milwaukee battery tool, both are good but it’s convenient to have all yours tools in one system, that way you’re not fooling with multiple chargers and batteries. Comfortable boots are something you need to find, you’ll be on your feet constantly. That will help when working longer hours, you’ll appreciate it for sure. Pay attention and absorb as much knowledge as you can!

Atomic, Max XR, Max, WTF?

battery adapters from Amazon very handy!

I've had really good luck with makita, Dewalt, and porter cable lithium knock off batteries from Amazon. If anyone has ever been leary, get the ones with the best reviews of course. Get higher amp/h at 1/4 of the price.

REALLY want the combo charger/radio, but I think Milwaukee has a patent on them, so might be a while. But my corded stuff is whatever had the best review/prices at the time. I'll be a lifetime Makita guy.
