Best solo game I have ever played. Really long but worth it
Amazing solo game. So much room for strategy. You start feeling like a noob then by the end of the game, you feel like a god, wiping out armies with a well thought out move. Bought all expansions because I liked the base game so much. Keep in mind, this is a game about planning and thinking. The lit...

Mage Knight Review
Patrick Korner: I have played Mage Knight about 15 times now, ranging from several multiplayer scenarios (mostly the introductory one to get more folks into the game) to two-player scenarios (of which the Druid Nights variant is a special favourite). And I think it’s easily one of the best games I have ever played – Top 10 for sure, probably just missing Top 5. Why do I think it’s so great? Variability, thematic immersion, strategy and fun, all rolled into one

"Vlaada Chvatil" - my favorite boardgame
Mage Knight is my top game all time, I really enjoy vlaada games too!
Whats the most complex game you’ve played?
**Mage Knight**. Love the game but still sold it off. Too many rules to remember and to keep track off. Not a game that you can pick up after not having played a couple of months.

Great, but very involved game. Not for the casual Friday night Jenga crowd.
Great game. Very complex. This is not for the light of heart or casual game night. The game pieces and board are nicely crafted, good quality, and look good. I like that you can play solo games which are essentially 'beat the clock' scenarios wherein you have 'x' turns to complete a mission. Playing...

What board game gave you the best first impression?
Aeon's End and Spirit Island fit the bill for me. Both made a great first impression that had held up over time. Mage Knight and Gloomhaven are great ones that took a couple plays to really hook me.
