My family and I have had this lumipet since January of this year(2019) and My daughter especially has been pretty satisfied by it. That was until it broke. Needless to say, explaining to a 2 year old little girl that her "lumiBear" is broke isnt the most fun thing to go through when she's reliant on it being her nightly night light. What broke? Normal Wear and tear might be too much for the USB charger otherwise it's good enough

 I removed it myself this morning and now tonight, somehow, it’s so broken that I can’t plug it in to charge, and the full charge from this morning is completely gone. The price has gone up yet again so I do not intend to buy a third Lumi Pet.  Update 10/12/19: My now 4 year old still loves this light. He uses it as a lantern to bring into his forts, and he still wants it every night in the room he shares with his younger brother

 The day we got it, I spent time with him, playing with it in his room because, let's be serious: this night light not only lights up, but it changes colors and it's many colors! It's soft, you can squish it...this thing needed to be played with

 On the first night in his room, he slept through the night, and every night since. This night light is a miracle-worker, and I'd give it 10 stars if I could.  The ONLY drawback is that it changes modes very well, so when I get it set to a color and dimness, my son will just tap it and changes modes. Fortunately, the remote makes it incredibly simple to change back

Crucial to my 2 and 4 year old boys!

  The device is easy to use so you eventually learn those things on your own but it would be nice if the instruction booklet told them to you. I like that the bear can be taken off of the bottom light so it can be washed (because silicone tends to attract and collect hair and dust) but once you take the body off the light it is 1-hard to get back on and 2-it comes off WAY too easily when you don't want it coming off. We took this on a camping trip yesterday and that is the reason this is getting 4 stars instead of 5; I had to try and fit the body back onto the base several times, kinda annoying. Besides some oddities, I would still recommend this night light

This night light is mostly great. I love that the kids can squish it then it will slowly re-inflate to it's original shape. I like that it comes with a remote and that you can set a timer for it to turn off. My kids love that you can tap the bear to make it change to several different colors

Broke within 1 month

 We've been using it for about two to three days at a time before needing to recharge -- for both nap (2 hours) and bedtime (it's on for probably 10-12 hours). We'll see how battery life holds up over time, but right now it's stellar. Longer than my iphone stays charged.

So far I'm really impressed with this little night light. My toddler, 2.5 yo LOVES it. He told me (without prompting) that it was "very cute"

Very pleased with this purchase.  My toddler continues to love this night light!
