Logitech G413

Quite a step up from my previous G413, I think this will serve me well for a while. I kept all the foam that came with the board, I prefer the sound of that. I also didn't change the plate, so it's aluminum.

I finally received it back, and it worked fine for 4 months this time, and now it's unusable again. It's not even in warranty anymore and even if it was I'm out of patience. I can't keep giving away such an expensive keyboard for months at an end only to have it develop the same problem again and again. I used to be an all-logitech person with the G102, G633s and G413 but am slowly moving away.

Out of the gate, I didn't like the uber-thick double cord. Like stupid Monster Cable back in the day: It's carrying the lowest bandwidth imaginable (an ethernet cable carries a million times more data in a thinner wire). Cable is both thick and long, so a bad choice for anything where close neatness...

Nice! I dropped my phone once on my G413 and broke a key. I emailed Logitech and told them exactly what happened, and they sent me a brand new keyboard!! I couldn’t believe it.

Just got it. Small form, hefty mass. My main problem is the key clacking is too loud. Not LOUD but louder than I prefer which is whisper quiet. Have yet to find a decent small form mech keyboard with negligible sound for less than $50.

I already replaced my G413 keyboard two times, now the store I bought it has gone out of business and I'm dealing directly with Logitech Support. Do I have any chance to make them replace the keyboard with any other mechanical keyboard which uses different switches? CTRL keys just explode at some point and the keycaps steams remain stuck in the switch.

I had this keyboard for less than a year and some of my keys are chipping away. The black keys are painted and the paint will come off.
