Not a great big one. And this one I just picked up recently I got it off of uh Amazon.

I purchased a Lodge Chef Collection 12” skillet, stripped and reasoned it, and cooked with it for a while, but I was always burning my food in the middle of the pan, an issue I hadn’t had with any of my other pans. What I realized was that the center of the pan is very high, somewhere between 1/16” and 1/8" relative to the outer edge of the base of the pan so any liquids (sauce, oil, etc) would run to the edge leaving the middle dry and thus burning the food.

Perfect shape and size. I think gives better browning and flavor than stainless steel. Really liked this skillet. Advertised as preseason definitely not. I have been cooking with cast for over 50 years I know the difference between what is seasoned and what is not.

Have used 4-5 times and have not been impressed. Steaks do not cook evenly. It is difficult to clean. Will probably replace sometime soon.
