Intermediate skier looking for new experiences

Check out the liberty origin 96. It's a similar ski but costs a couple hundred less. I got a pair of 101s this spring and like them.

Desperate with choosing new skis (M, 22YO, 55kg, 181cm)

There's a lot of all mountain skis out there that carve well but are also playful enough to throw some tricks on and ski switch from time to time. The Blizzard Rustler 9 comes to mind. Also Line Sick Day 94, Salomon QST 98, Atomic Bent Chetler 100, Liberty Origin 96 and 101, Dynastar M-Free 99, Nordica Unleashed 98 (new for 2023 but available in some stores now). Aim for a length somewhere around your height or slightly shorter given your weight and ability level.

Does anyone know good skis for in-resort but off-piste skiing?

I've liberty origin 106 and feels perfect for all conditions. Its wide and light for powder and quick turns, but also stable at high speed and cuts through chopped snow.

First intermediate ski recommendations

For your “pow” ski look at Origin Liberty 101 or 106 or Sir Francis Bacons. If you really wanted to splurge check out Moment Wildcat 108, Deathwish 104, or the Shaggy Ahmeek 105’s. Oh and don’t skimp on bindings. Tyrolia or Look are great brands.

Help with size 176 or 182!

I got the liberty origin 101 in 187mm late last year. I'm 6ft, 185lbs, and I am an advanced skier. The length definitely makes them somewhat less nimble in trees. That said I was able to use them on a couple of powder days at the end of last season and they were fantastic.

Need a ski recommendation.
