This board shreds. I’m riding a 157. I wear size 11 boots, 200 pounds. The board floats me easy in pow and rips everything else too. It rides switch as well as my T rice pro but floats pow way better. Just get it.

I typically go to a local board shop that has had older boards from last season that are on sale. I've ridden Lib Tech and ride boards that i got under 400$. They are worth getting for sure.

I'm 6' 0", 240lbs, Size 13: I ride a Lib Orca 147 with Rome Katana bindings. I put around 30 days on snow each year. Just go do it and work out the kinks as you go.

Try the Lib Tech Orca, you could honestly get away with a 156 if you wanted it’s meant to ride a lot shorter than your normal board. Plus you can form Orca Pods in the lift lines and make Orca noises with all the other Orca Dorka’s

I ride NY and VT most of the time. My favs are Super DOA and my lib orca. I also I own a yes 20/20 but it’s purely for pow days or trips.
