This one here, this is a lot better quality for the price. I do like this one better in the sealed box.

I just bought this soundbar along with the rear channel speakers SPK8-S to use with the LG C1 and PS5. I connected the SP8YA to TV through eARC and ps5 to TV through HDMI 2.1. My sound settings for TV: HDMI (ARC), Passthrough, sound share mode, bitstream... For PS5, it's AV Amplifier -> 5.1 chn -> DTS or Dolby.

First impression could have been better. Being that so many LG products, including the CX I own, can be paired and connected to wifi using the LG ThinQ app that was the first place I went to connect. The LG SP8YA supports AirPlay 2 and supports all smart assistants (Siri, Google, Alexa) using whatever external device you connect to the soundbar. RTings.com gave the LG SP8YA a better overall score than the LG SN8YG, for which I have the latter.
